ETM Manufacturing President Tapped for Expert Panel

TechSandBox Session Explores Best Practices in Partnering with Contract Manufacturers

LITTLETON, Mass. (July 7th, 2014) – With dozens of years of experience in manufacturing, Rob Olney, president of ETM Manufacturing, will join an expert panel at TechSandBox’s  upcoming program focused on giving entrepreneurs practical advice and best practices for finding and working with contract manufacturers.

Who:                    Rob Olney, president of ETM Manufacturing

What:                  “What Do You Need to Know About Your Contract Manufacturers”

When:                 Mon., July 14, 2014, 5:30 pm

Where:                TechSandBox, 105B South Street, Hopkinton, Mass.

Olney’s remarks are expected to focus on prototyping – a critical stage for the members of the Robotics, Sensors, Automation and Manufacturing Special Interest Group who are part of the TechSandBox.  As a trusted partner to New England start-ups including Panel Claw, A.I.R. Innovation as well established companies like EMC Corporation, Olney’s team at ETM Manufacturing brings special expertise – having, at least count, launched 1000+ new designs – not variations, but completely different parts – every year for the past seven years.

“As  the “maker movement” picks up steam, entrepreneurs like these in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts will increasingly look for manufacturing partners who can accelerate time-to-market for their products,” said Olney.  “We’ve learned a lot about what it takes to move products move from concept/design to actual production and are excited to share these lessons with TechSandBox.”
